A mad scientist infects a famous pianist with a disfiguring virus, and will only provide the cure if the man's daughter agrees to marry him. Made in 1944, this film features excellent performances, including Glen Strange who would go on to play Frankenstein the following year. This movie is considered by many to be an underrated gem that was panned by critics at the time for its "exploitation" of an actual disease - acromegaly (made famous by Rondo Hatton who was a real-life sufferer).
